I'm Franco Moyano, the founder of Moyano & Co. I'm a bookkeeper based in Barrie, Ontario, and I work exclusively with trades businesses and contractors.
I chose to specialize in trades businesses for a simple reason: the books are genuinely more complex than most people realize, and most bookkeepers don't understand the nuances — holdbacks, T5018s, job costing, seasonal cash flow, subcontractor vs. employee rules. I'm 26. I'm not going to pretend that's a lot of grey hair. I grew up in Barrie, I know this area, and I take seriously the responsibility of looking after the financial side of local businesses.
