Best for: Contractors with employees, subcontractors and increasing administrative demands.
Get Your Free Books CheckThis is not a fee just to receive a cleanup quote. When free Books Check scoping is not enough, we perform an in-depth investigation of the file and give you a written Blueprint showing exactly what is wrong, what is missing or unresolved, and what needs to be corrected.
The $450 pays for the investigation and written Blueprint, not just a cleanup quote. There is no obligation to have Moyano & Co. complete the cleanup. You can use the Blueprint as a roadmap with us or take it elsewhere.
Start with Your Free Books Check$700 onboarding fee waived. Your starting base monthly rate is locked for your first six months.
We are looking for contractors that are a strong fit for the service, not simply anyone willing to say yes. Once the five founding-client spots are filled, the offer ends.
These apply to Contractor Bookkeeping and Books + Back Office. Cleanup projects use a separate written authorization.
Every engagement has a defined point of contact and clear responsibility for onboarding, the monthly close, and follow-up items.
The software required for your selected scope is listed in your agreement and included in the bundled fee unless your proposal says otherwise.
The agreement sets out the active services, monthly fee and responsibilities. Either party may end the monthly engagement with 30 days’ written notice; fees for completed work and approved work in progress remain payable.
Available trial balance, general ledger, reconciliations, financial statements and filing summaries are organized for your external accountant. This can reduce avoidable year-end questions, but accountant fees remain outside our control.
If your volume changes, you're told before the invoice does, not after.
Start with a free 15-minute Contractor Books Check. No QuickBooks access or preparation is required. If free scoping is not enough, the $450 Contractor Books Recovery Blueprint is used only when deeper historical investigation is required. You receive the written findings and cleanup roadmap whether or not you hire us for the cleanup.
Your fixed monthly price is based on transaction volume, number of financial accounts, payroll frequency and employee count, the selected A/P or A/R workflow, subcontractor volume, file condition and other agreed responsibilities. You receive a written monthly quote before recurring work begins.
Contractor Bookkeeping starts at $500 per month and is designed for approximately 150 monthly transactions and two financial accounts. Businesses above those limits are assessed individually and may require Books + Back Office or a revised written scope.
Monthly service has a standard $700 onboarding fee. For the first five qualified Founding 5 clients, that onboarding fee is waived. If the 15-minute call is not enough to quote cleanup, the same free Contractor Books Check can continue with a complimentary QBO scoping review. The $450 Contractor Books Recovery Blueprint is used only when pricing requires actual historical investigation, tracing, or reconstruction. You receive a written Blueprint showing what is wrong, missing or unresolved, what needs to be corrected, and the recommended cleanup scope. The Blueprint is yours to keep and can be used with Moyano & Co. or another bookkeeper. If you proceed with cleanup with Moyano & Co. within 30 days, the $450 is credited toward the cleanup.
Yes. The tools required for the selected scope are listed in your agreement and included in the monthly fee unless the proposal states otherwise. Contractor Bookkeeping generally uses QuickBooks Online Plus and Dext. Wagepoint is used when payroll is active in either monthly service. Books + Back Office may also use Plooto when its A/P or A/R workflow is active.
Moyano & Co. performs only the bookkeeping and filing-administration services selected in the agreement. Corporate and personal income-tax returns, tax planning and tax opinions remain with your accountant or tax adviser. We provide the available year-end bookkeeping package described in the agreement.
Contractor Bookkeeping and Books + Back Office are month-to-month under a written agreement and may be cancelled with 30 days notice. Cleanup is a one-time project governed by a separate authorization and payment schedule.
A T5018 is a CRA information return for qualifying construction contract payments. Basic subcontractor payment tracking is included in both monthly services. Contractor Bookkeeping can add annual T5018 preparation and filing for $200/year plus $10 per subcontractor. Books + Back Office includes annual T5018 preparation and filing when applicable and supported by complete client records.
